Got a X100 to improve my vision
June 23, 2012
After a difficult six or nine months, I sold my old camera three months ago, when I thought any new photography was finished.
Got some positive news this week about my eyesight future prospects and had a further eye operation.
So I celebrated and acquired a new camera this time a compact camera, ~ Fuji X100
but still trying it out and getting to know it ~ and that may take a while
Am trying to get back to good old fashioned RangeFinder monochrome sans negative
Am using the in-built red filter and shooting directly as monochrome to attempt to create images similar to the old Fuji Neopan 1600 high contrast monochrome negative film of the eightes
Fuji x100
captured in camera as black and white mode
F8 0r F11 @ 1/500th sec
23mm lens (35mm)
using 16;9 aspect ratio

Ards Peninsula
County Down

That is good news, I had no idea your vision was at risk, David. I can only imagine what you've been through. This is a great shot, beautifully done.
