Tears Along the Curtain ...
June 05, 2012
Dried, dusty cracks decorate the surface.
Scorched into the earth they surround her.
the she who arrives in silence,
an ethereal apparition
transported by her chariot, the wind.
One by one, her collected sorrows
surrender to the night and they fall,
plunging earthward to meet their demise.
Their release, manifested in tears,
punctuates the flickering Cimmerian curtain.
The ground, hungry for life, fervently drinks them up
healing its cracks, breathing once more.
Knowing the emptiness, it feeds sparingly.
The reserves remain a slumbering lake
and wait for the lady to return.

I knew there was poetry in your comments !! I don't know much about poetry but I can sense the deep sensitivity.
