Plastic Society

Plastic society
the earth has gone
from our souls.
Generating one
into virtual reality.
Flat screen
visitation,
projection world.
Does it hit us
when we log out
and sit alone.
Do plastic ads
encourage us of hope
or leave us with
a dish of plastic process
to digest daily?
Our daily bread
becomes the societies social
life, politic garbage, or trying
to sell more stuff.
Old news in a 21st century.
The earth cries,
but cannot weep
the sun dances a jig
and the rain chases a rainbow
that can't be found.
Return,
regain,
replant
and harvest again.
