Thank you and apology

Two and a half years ago, I decided to get back into photography. I bought my first digital camera and joined a photo site. Nervous is an understatement that describes how I felt about posting photos, let alone the attempts at writing that ultimately made an appearance. It had been quite some time since I had used a camera to take anything other than family snap shots. And, although just average at it, I enjoyed it. Playing with software that was now available was just one more thing to learn. Oh, and the writing, first time anyone other than myself could see it.
I have come across some extraordinary work, both visual and written, in this time. The beauty that emanates from it astounds me. I have nothing but admiration for the individuals who create such works that stop people in their tracks and make them sigh audibly at the wonder set forth before their eyes. To them, I apologize for wasting time and space.
I'd also like to thank to those of you who took the time to view or read anything that I posted. Appreciate your kindness more than I can express.
What I found is that the people matter most. A single person can make the biggest difference. As it does in life.
The heart always listens.

Dear Cathy- there is a special place in my heart for your art, your writing, and for you... not necessarily in that order hun. But I have to tell you, when I see you have blogged here... I generally jump for joy in my chair... I love that I can find your work and presence here.... personally I don't believe anything is wasted. xxx

Thereis no such thing as a waste of time and space unless you give up at what you are doing. Simple as that. Continue doing what you enjoy, learn from others who came before you, focus on ctitique using that to strengthen your abilities, master your voice and what you wish to tell with your work, and even though it's mostly a pain and a struggle enjoy every minute of it. If it were easy nobody would find satisfaction at accomplishing anything. People do matter and what you learn from them is equally as important as what you teach them.
