Avo K, was born on July 25, 1955 in Yerevan, Armenia. He began to show interest in drawing and painting at a very early age. In 1971 the growing desire for the arts landed him in Terlemezyan College or the Art. Because of his passion to paint and draw, Avo fully absorbed the academic teachings of the time. In 1975 he continued his education at Yerevan State Institute of Fine Arts. Excelling in painting and drawing, he mastered these skills to the extent where he had no limitations in expressing his inner personal world on the canvas. Upon graduating, in 1982 Avetis started teacing at Yerevna Institute of Fine Arts, influencing a decade on young artist, simultaneously being a constant participant in republican, all-union, and international exhibitions.
In 1992 Avetis found home in the United States , where he pursues a life as a prolific painter and participating in group and solo exhibitions.
