A fine juxtaposition of then and now. Not much has changed in basic essence, eh? By the way, my dad is a WW2 veteran, navy in the Pacific theatre. I'll see to it that he sees your good work...

Tell your dad thanks for serving for me. My friend is in love with his jeep and a big time gear head so he was wondering if I could paint his jeep so he gave me a picture of it when he was parked in front of the memorial.

I will be more than happy to tell him thanks for you. I'm sure he will say thanks to you as well. As for jeeps, I have an '82 Scrambler (the one with the half-bed, very cool and kinda scarce), but after ~ 25 years, I'm going to sell it to a younger guy who can have the kind of fun with it that it was meant for. But I do love it!

Yeah, this one is an 84. 82 huh? I bet it is fun to drive. Good luck with getting rid of it. Take care.

The memorial was my favorite place of all that we visited in Hawaii. This is a great painting.
