Description: It is now Feb 3 in Missouri and I found this caterpillar on my front porch. Some may call it a Wooly Worm.I could not believe it was still alive. I brought it in and my lights warmed it up and it became very active. After I took a shot or two I let it go back out.
I have always heard you could tell about your winter by the color of the bands on these. Black is severe cold...brwon is not somuch so..and white means snow..I have noidea why this one is not White! As we have so much heay snow this year! Thanks for looking.
