Description: In this painting I employed all the colors and conventions found in classical landscapes and abstracted them. I think, in the end, it almost fools the viewer into not realizing the abstraction at all. The distant fire symbolizes the yearning we all have for discovering what is just around the next bend. This painting is an oil on stretched canvas.
