I may be strange, but there is something hauntingly beautiful about art reflecting a singular eye instead of a set. I have found a succession of unconscious eyes in many of my free form sketches. I feel you may be afflicted as well. This piece, though eerie at first glance has a very tranquil quality about it. I truly enjoy the subtle shades of burgundy. It reacts as though constructed with dried blood.
Thank you for your comment. Actually, I made this with the lyrics from a Final Fantasy (Owen Pallett) song in mind. The song is called Many Lives -> 49 MP. The song can loosely be described as something about "clairvoyance". You are right about the fact the eerie feel mixes with a sort of tranquility. IThat's the sort of thing I had in mind =) Thank you gain for feedback!
