You did a great job on capturing the mood..His staring out of the window as to say he is bored or just looking at the gulls as they fly by..daydreaming...I said gulls as for some reason he should in a dock office..very pensive. I like it a lot!

i really love mixed media pictures, and this one works really well. i especially like the composition and the way things are framed in this one. i feel obliged however to find something i dont like about it as well given the description. i would suggest not using black at all, but when doing something with this lighting situation to use very dark blues, or violets or even greens can sometimes work. i started doing this at the suggestion of a friend a couple years ago and have found that these kinds of dark colors can be used like black but make the picture richer than if black is used. really like the work

I love this. Love how the light from outside blocks the details inside (except the ones that you need to tell the story.) the shoulder slump,face hidden from the world with the cap and beard, and the cig do that..

another winner!!!! the interior exterior contrast is perfection together with a flowing composition makes this a story that leaves many questions ,this type of work is very moving to me, I find I can identify with the isolation and the thought that might be going on in this mans head very very well done.
