well crafted pencil illustration with just the right hint/touch of color and shading to show your brilliant talent... fab job zareh
I like the play between the realism of the eyes/ hair, and the line drawing of the rest of the figure. It is interesting how important the eyes can be to the overall feel of a piece.
beautiful drawing, love the shading on the hair and upper face, awesome hair detail, thanks very much for all the stars on my work !!
Wow love this piece, the mixture between simple and realistic, the comical elements of the necklace both female and male parts, the leaf for the mouth, very well done!
Wow I love the use of negative space with black and white i am a firm believer more artists should use negative space. Also the choice to put a touch of color on the nipple is really cool my eye keeps darting back and forth between the face and the breast witch is just like real life! They eyes and hair are incredible. I love it!
Cool! You're giving me an idea for my current portrait commission of a fellow's wife! ;) You obviously enjoy your work. Salut!
Wonderful!
I appreciate your time and comments, your choosing my works in your favorites and the stars. All the best to you Paul.

A wonderful drawing, The fascination starts with the waves of the beautifuly shaded hairs, then after passing the delicate tones of the forhead, it mooves me to the magnetic eyes, which forces me to stand still for some moments and gaze into them !,.. and finally feiw simple lines elegantly curved takes my eyes towards the completed beauty.,.What is Art ?
Yes what is art? Interesting. Thank you Avo, always you are very supportive. All the best to you dear friend.
I thought I had given a star on this a long time ago...aploligies my friend,,, one of my favorites...just one of them! :-))
Dear friend, no need for apologies , your kindness is valuable, thank you for your time and support. Have a lovely night.
What a great expressive force is hidden in your, apparently simple but actually mysterious drawings ? I do not know how to interprate and describe the pleasant tenderness hidden behind them. After being familliar with the most of them during this last 5 - 6 years through the several exhibitions,... just recently I found out, that seems that little by little I am becoming to comprehend and feel the deep beauty and essence of their distingtive characteristics more and more, and thats mainly because of being forced to watch them, review them, by concentrating, thinking and analizing over and over,.. until understanding them and becoming thoroughly familliar and easy with them. And for that reason, I am mostly grateful to this awsome and amazing "school" of Art, called the "Blue Canvas" which gave me a great oportunity to better understand and see the works of art, by looking touching and feeling the reality and beauty of your delicate and astonishing art works, and others. So dear Maestro for that reason I feel and understand and enjoy the precious value of your artistic drawings, as well as the other Artist's works sharing in this "School" ,..to day much more than yesterday. With best Regards Avo
Dear Avo, it is a great feeling to read all these words from you, very touching, I very much appreciate your time and all your feelings, kindness and support. I am happy for your satisfaction here in Bluecanvas . I wish you all the best.
Zareh, thank you again for exploring my soul and bringing her to on the outside. I am humbled by your graciousness. -Katy Kalysta
mature work. like it a lot.
Dear Ruben, very good hearing from you, I very much enjoyed your art, thank you for the stars and support. Have wonderful days.
fantastic composition, beautiful lifelike detail yet refreshingly simple and clean. i really love this.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, for your kindness and very supportive spirit. You are encouraging me.
I like how you change the style from top to bottom--detail around the eyes to simple curved lines at the breast.
Love the line quality and the inventiveness of the breast niple/leaf....and of course that most unusual neck jewelery! cool, sexy!
Like the melting snow, a promise of clear summer skies, boundless flowers, the scent of mystery, a woman, echoes above rushing waters, I shall linger as long as I can...
Yes--this really IS stunning! I love how she's deconstructed--with the leaf as her lips . . . a gorgeous piece!
i just love this piece - i keep coming back to her; very compelling expression, and love the balance and the transition between figurative and abstract symbolism - a really beautiful work. thank you very much for all the stars, much appreciated!
Thank you very much dear artist, your time and comments are appreciated. I love your works too. You are very welcome and thank you too for all the support. Warm regards.
This is amazing. You could fully render her in each one of these styles and they'd all be great, but the decisions you made to juxtapose them together make it something special.
S.
I take this with optimism, probably for the word sexy or super or....Thank you for your comment. regards.
I agree with Rafe. :) This is so beautifully done! Your ability to use line and tight rendering is inspiring. Great work! This piece is one of my favorites on bluecanvas.
I love the unfinished simplicity you show in many of your pieces. This one is quite the teaser! You've put soo much detail in her face but have left much to the imagination for the rest. Great work!
You are more than welcome. The leaf mouth is a great touch too! And the splash of color on the nipple ring!
Wow...this is so unique! Thought- provoking and incredibly expressive. The most unique artwork I've seen in a while. It's so interesting how you shaded in half the face and drew the rest in simple lines. Love this one.
Thank you Erika, your words are really touching to me, after studying her a little I did this artwork, this is what I wanted to do of her after seeing some of her photos she sent and seeing part of her website.
