Thank you so much Dearest Rosie - I'm so sorry I was unable to stay for Fred's whole interview but I'm going back to read through it all. It was wonderful while I was there!.
I must go down and see again/ the wonderful work/of my dear friend! :-)))
You are as clever with words as with images dear Eitan - and you are such a lovely and generous friend. Thank you soooooo much xoxox
Beautiful verse from Masefiled my friend- and such lovely artwork capturing the risk, mystery and timelessness of these stories and lives....Thanks for adding to BLUE!!!! I love this series and so look forward to each post Lianne xxxxxxxxxxx
Oh I'm so very glad you do dear Rosie - I think of you in particular each time I start a new one, even though they present the sea in a very different mood from your exquisite, serene harbor images. Yours make me feel at peace and I long for the moment I find that kind of safe harbor. Thank you my dear friend xoxoxox
"Where the wind's like a whetted knife". What a fabulous line, Lianne! And a fabulous work....
I'm at a loss for words for how to respond to such an extraordinarily gracious and beautiful comment, dear Car. You just can't know how very much that means to me. Thank you seems totally inadequate. xoxox
This is amazing again Lianne! What I love the most is those tiny figures, soooo much detail in this. Wow! And those waves .... Magnificent sweetheart! xxxx
I love the sky blue ,the peace and then the stormy seas . One balancing the other.Yesterday i stayed two hours floating in the waves and felt peace enveloping me and now and again some fear, some uncertainty in the movement. This image is wonderful for contemplation! there is the golden one still..in the distance.
What a fabulous comment Laureen - and how it touches me because it captures that dichotomy - the peace and the fear in one perfect moment. How perfect the analogy to life seems when you put it that way! Thank you so much.
Lianne what a gorgeous work. So true we are all on the journey searching. Sometimes on stormy seas and sometimes on calm. At times we have help from others passing on their own journey, but oh so often, we must navigate it alone. And in that navigation and journey, we can appreciate so much more the destination.
Oh I always take your comments to heart, dear Ramon - and that's because you always "get it" - whatever it is I'm trying to say. And love you all the more for that - thank you from my heart. xoxoxox
I love this Lianne! Beautiful amazing work! I understand how you feel. There's something about the ocean and the ships that just pulls me.
I think the sea calls to us all - as John Kennedy once said when we return to the sea we are in a sense coming home. Thank you so much Meg - I can't tell you how much your lovely comment means.

One big thank you for everyone who left a note or a star here. That just means the world to me but I'd rather keep trying to visit your work today than take that time to write individual thank yous. I hope you all know how very grateful I am!!
