I am colorblind
Coffee black and egg white
Pull me out from inside
I am ready
I am ready
I am ready
I am
Taffy stuck, and tongue tied
Stuttered, shook and uptight
Pull me out from inside
I am ready
I am ready
I am ready
I am...fine
I am covered in skin
No one gets to come in
Pull me out from inside
I am folded, and unfolded, and unfolding
I am
Colorblind
Coffee black and egg white
Pull me out from inside
I am ready
I am ready
I am ready
I am...fine
I am.... fine
I am fine
"Unfortunately there can be no doubt that man is, on the whole, less good than he imagines himself or wants to be. Everyone carries a shadow, and the less it is embodied in the individual's conscious life, the blacker and denser it is. If an inferiority is conscious, one always has a chance to correct it. Furthermore, it is constantly in contact with other interests, so that it is continually subjected to modifications. But if it is repressed and isolated from consciousness, it never gets corrected." - C G Jung -

:))))))))))) I love this so much .... would LOVE to see you post this here:)http://groups.bluecanvas.com/BLUE.... great writing btw...is the verse your own? It is beautiful.
Wish I could say the writing was mine, Rose. My poetry professor gave me a mercy 'A', but my poetry is crap. This is one of my favorite songs by Counting Crows. I was very apprehensive about posting the photo or the quotes because they have a very complicated and personal meaning to me. That I did it was real psychological progress. I'm grateful to find a place where I feel relatively safe!....There is no Blue here.....but if you say so. Undying gratitude for your support, lovely lady....
...and a clarification... if you have some time take a read of the BLUE criteria, and you will see my concept of BLUE goes way beyond visuals .... this looks very blue to me xxx
Know him...:) We started on a discussion here in Lianne's FA Forum... several months ago... but you may like to pick it up again... you would be so welcome:) http://groups.bluecanvas.com/BLUE/forum/post/2238/page/7
There are a handful of writers that have had a profound influence on my life. He and Hermann Hesse are probably the foremost. They've steared me through many a death and resurrection.. Thank you!! What I haven't discovered in Blue Canvas would fill a book. It's the fault of that pesky day job... I will have a look at the group.
Carl...one thing i love here, among so many, compared to other sites... is that there's no hurry.... i love that we can savour that discovery....i look forward to you getting time for the Lounge eventually, and us having a great old chin-wag about these Greats you are rattling off:)
I can't spell. Sorry. Again this phot is memorably amazing. My favorite easily in every way. The son lyrics and the quote with the image is perfect. The croping and beautiful colors and the movement in the photo is just great. Congrats on being awesome. Thank you as always for posting to epic.
