On a recent day trip we scouted the coast of Lake Ontario east of Rochester. This is one of several images taken. One prevalent theme emerged from my beach experience, the magic of the elemental natural world. A second impression was it's fragility and the cycle of all living things! A powerful message was conveyed to me. While some of the images in this series might be disgusting to some viewers, I find them very informative and beautiful, not morbid or distasteful, as they document a process that we all will experience at one point or another.

Whether you found it like this, or set it up, it is so beautiful! I love the colors and that light is perfect!

Thank you so much Karen! I don't arrange any of the nature shots! I shoot them as I find them I do crop as I take the photo for what I want, but the forces or fates did all the composition and uniting of materials =))!

These trees were once on the edge of high drumlin bluffs. Erosion and time eventually sends them over the edge to the lake shore below!
