Description: I am always inspired to see Chris's work. I don't usually do paintings of buildings accept for commission. I have done several homes for a Relator in Houston. This was one I did for a design firm a few years back. It's in the Medical Center in Houston, the Jones Library.
One thing I did learn in painting buildings is after taking pictures of this building, I printed the image and I lightly sketched where important lines went, transferring that on to w/c paper, that helped me tremendously instead of just eyeballing it.
That's exactly how I do architecture pieces Alli - and anything where I'm working from a photo as reference image. Or I use graph paper to enlarge and carbon to copy to paper. This is really beautifully done too Alli - love this green as you know!!
