Description: Portrait sketch of myself done in prismacolor pencils. I started with a purple pencil to create the drawing and used it to block in my shadows, The plan next was to color over the purples with other color pencils. While the purple would may have blended with the other colors it would give it an extra richness and surprise. Plus, mulberry is a very good addition to skin color when mixing it with yellow. It creates a beautiful orange.
