We'd give anything for rain here!! supposed to have dry lighting tomorrow...wild fire hazard! Right now I am telling myself I'm going to be sorry tomorrow at work for staying up too late ;o)

These things sometimes start out as an elaborate doodle...and then I see what it wants to become, glad you like it!
Enjoying your work Kari, this is an immediate fave. Great lines, shapes, shading, fading, textures. Rich with good stuff, all fun and well done. And my eye keeps coming back to the lovely little flourishes at lower left. So cool.

Wow, magnificent skills and imagination combined here. Wonderful drawing. Much as I love colour, b/w whether charcoal, pencil or photograph, means ALL the details pop. Love the transitions particularly.
