Description: In Memory of those lost at sea on the
RMS TITANIC
14th April 1912
Titanic Visitor Centre
Belfast
14th April 2012
The building design represents the iceberg tip hitting the side of the ship
The statue repesentative of the many young people who not only lost out on their future in the new world but also lost their lives
It wasn't just another ordinary every day .... we really do remember all that happened on this night one hundred years ago; and that will stay in our minds forever

The symbolism is well thought-out and emotive. I wonder if you have personal ties to some of those who lost their lives that night...

not that I am aware of, but I have worked on the Titantic project some years ago in the project planning stage, so I consider myself close to it
