No matter how many times I see the Amish, I'm always a bit in awe that there could be people making the choice to live without electricity ! This photograph caught my attention because of the child , who seems to represent the way within the Amish culture there is a sense of people never really entering the grown-up world of stress and anxiety.

LOL - I am laughing at myself here because I caught this in the gallery rather than the activity page and I said, "This is Matthew." Just knew it! And I love, love, love it. I lived just near here for a number of years and still love to visit the Amish farms and communities around here too. What a great shot - so meaningful. For all our progress...where are we???
