So glad you saw the connection between them..it is definately something I've thought about too..undeserved mercy should generate gratitude. Everything good we recieve is undeserved on our part and gift and/or mercy from God...sometimes even the difficult things/times are ones we should be thankful for ..if they ultimately they draw us closer to him.
