Oh, and as for the star system, I truly enjoy it. Participated with groups that focused more intensely on criticism, but in the end I'm not sure it moved me along in a positive way. I found myself altering pieces to appeal to the group's opinion/response rather sailing my own course. As I can see from your own self critique, we often are toughest on ourselves. d
OK then Wil. Saw your commentary about stars, so I'll refrain from starring this. Yes, it feels unbalanced with too little variation in hues. The blues overwhelm, the shape to the bottom left seems incomplete and the pink road seems unfinished as well. The perspective in the upper left half, with that tower into the moon, is off. The cottages themselves have potential but need more contrast from each other. Enough?
