"Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep." ~ Scott Adams

Description: Two scans morphed to make a third scan and assembled in Ps
This scanography triptych portrays my own process of awakening, after a long period of dormancy. Often in life we live in denial about our true passions, and it is only via a process of disillusionment that we can set ourselves free of inner trappings, thus allowing us to seek new beginnings.

Thanks Rosie! Yes, Lianne has been so supportive and insightful on the topic of self-growth or metamorphosis, I was thinking of her as I completed this piece :)

Thanks Nina! I like the movement too, I plan to explore this avenue some more this weekend! It gives me a good excuse to work on my Photoshop skills as well.

Another incredible piece Fred - rich with the same kind of symbolism and meaning as your last triptych.

when lookin right to left which I tend to do...looks like you are falling away under water...

although I know you are supposed to look left to right...which I like how you become more infocus and alive...

shut your eyes...and use all your other senses:)

I agree, I think the piece can be read either way! Til the last minute I wasn't sure if "her" eyes should be open at the beginning or at the end...
