Description: The effects of the extreme drought is ravaging the Horn of Africa and despite the aid available and all the international pledges of support, the situation remains dire. The ban on key foreign aid by terrorist groups is blamed for exacerbating the effects of the famine. Between the drought and the politics, disease and malnutrition continue to kill.
