Posted by judithclay on January 18, 2012

No exhibit yet, Pedro, but I was just published in the new issue of Taiwan dpi Magazine (this picture included) with interview. My pictures are pretty small, 21X29cm. Thanks so much for the comment!

Posted by pinturagestual on January 18, 2012

;) thats great judith , things happe if we keep doing what we believe!! but u gt me curious:) how did u got in contact with the dpi magazine? thats sounds great.. many congrats!!!!

Posted by judithclay on January 19, 2012

You're absolutely right, Pedro, about things happening if we keep doing what we believe, although it sometimes takes quite a bit of time! About Taiwan dpi Magazine: actually, they contacted me. They sent me an e-mail telling me that they were interested in doing an interview and publishing my work. I'm not sure where they saw my work, but the editor told me that they routinely look at all kinds of art websites and check for art they like. So I was lucky that they found one of my online portfolios. Thanks again for your nice comment, Pedro! Keep in touch!

I just haven't enough words Judith to say how much I love this. The apples are totally "delicious" - such a beautiful color. The details in the teapot, the hair/branches are so imaginative and perfect. Love, love, love this - could just sink my teeth right into it!

Posted by judithclay on November 20, 2011

Dear Lianne, you're making me so happy with you comments!! It means so much that you like the picture! Thanks for appreciating all the details. There was a lot of work in this picture!

Beautiful work. I get to give you your first star for it! The yellow is so inviting and radiant, and I love how here hair becomes the trees and vice versa.

Posted by judithclay on November 19, 2011

Thanks so much, Frederique, for my first star for this picture! It was so nice of you to stop by. I'm very happy that you like the picture and the yellow. It always takes several layers before the colors are just right.
