I like everything about it. It really is a "masterpiece". Actually, to be honest, I don't like the title, but I'm not sure why. (sorry) I think maybe it's because the title is very simplistic, but this is actually a very complex painting? It just seems like no title would do it justice maybe.
I'm just saying that as much as some dislike people that are different, this is what your / our country sometimes looks like. Despite the things that are going on politically, like laws targeting immigrants, making people feel unwelcome, I'd like to make people feel at ease by showing that their culture, their memories, their lives are as important as any one elses. So I'd like to kind of put It on a pedestal in the form of a painting. but you're right the name totally changes what some one might feel for the painting. What can you do... you're damned if you do, you're damned if you don't :/

also, this picture was taken at a ranch in Lancaster Ca. that belongs to my moms' uncle.

Thank you. I take all my own photos and then crop them to the way I think they would look the most interesting as a painting.
