Most amazing scene and I lvoe this poem you wrote, it speaks to me on many levels! thank you and bless you! and
I am so sorry for the delay and the neglect - I've been off for "medical leave" the past month. Thank you so much for the lovely comments and stars. Your comment really touches me!
This is truly amazing, Liane, as is your poem. I left a detailed comment about both in the Blue Friday Lounge, but I think you had left while I was writing it. I'll see if I can retrieve it.
Found it! Lianne, your image, September Season of My Heart, is most stunning. Its rich scarlet leaves on trees watered by the flowing stream speaks not only of autumn, but also of seasons yet to come. Your poem, also rich in wonder-filled imagery, offers hope to those who dare to trust. Now, in the weeks to come, will you let me, and all those who call you friend, trust and hope and pray on your behalf... as you rest in the love of the One who most truly cares for you?
Oh Ann, my friend - I am truly in tears and so touched by such a request. Indeed and with the deepest faith and gratitude I ask and accept your prayers on my behalf and I do trust in His goodness and desire for my well-being. Whatever the outcome it is as He would have it and that is fine with me. How do I even begin to thank you for your generosity, your friendship and your faith. Those things will sustain me in my own faith. God bless you Ann.
beautiful shot
Thank you so much Derek - I'll be so looking forward to your paintings when I return, as I'm confident I will. And your friendship, too, has touched me and means so very much. How can I really express how much that means? I wish all good things for you my friend. God bless you too.
Beautiful picture
Thank you Audran - how lovely of you to visit and leave such a wonderful compliment. That means a lot to me.
Awesome colors and light on the water!
Thank you so much Thea - for some reason this one is kind of special to me so I'm really glad that you like it.

Aw thank you so much Berns - this one means a lot to me for some reason so I'm double thrilled that you like it.
Your beautiful poetry has touched me so dear Lianne and the pink sky and it's reflection on the water is tinged with love.x
Now you've touched my heart Laureen - I can't tell you how much that lovely comment means to me! Thank you so much, so very much.

Lianne, I cannot help myself, I have been back to visit this over and over. It is SUBLIME. such perfection in every sense. I just get lost in it, then I read your words again and I just become one with it.
Now you're going to make me cry, my dear friend. This poem has always meant a great deal to me...I've only read a few poems aloud or in public and this is one of them. So it took me a long while to create an image that I felt could go with it. It's so much about the transition times of our lives...accepting even when our instinct is to fight it. It's a lesson it's taken me a very long time to learn. Thank you dear Ramon. xox
wow! such a perfect composition and so love your color treatment... looks like a painting, yet so real when I look at the water in the foreground that I would jump!! Gorgeous scenery Lianne :)))
way tooooooo much beauty..Lianne..not to mention the poem...you are amazing..!!!!
Awww you are such a gracious gentleman and that is just the loveliest comment. I can't thank you enough!
This takes the cake, Lianne! I love the falls, yes but this is the place to swim! No just a little a joke but the colors!! and the those birds and the sky, wooo so beautiful! Picture perfect! I love it. Is this near the falls? I listened to you in your reading, lovely. I remember when you read when we were at Maureen's first somo xxoxo
Hi Alli - no, this is a totally different place - actually right across the street. It runs right next to my former home here in town and right down past my brother's. And yes, you could swim here - we do from time to time, but it's pretty shallow unless we've had some rain. I'm so glad you liked this though Alli - this one felt good. And really happy you went to the site and listened. That's actually the recording I made so Maureen could time the slides for the show! Thank you my friend.
Wonderful write-up........SEPTEMBER SEASON OF MY HEART.....!!!!!
Thank you so much John for your lovely comment on both the image and the poem. That means a lot to me.
Do you know how much I love to listen to you read? This has been the best treat this morning my friend- your website is looking AMAZING!!! There is such a beauty and majesty in this piece dear Lianne- among your very best work. Your heartfilled wisdom enriches my life through your gift of expression- both in words, and your art - thanks so much for posting this to BLUE xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Ahhh Rosie my dear friend - you touch my heart with your enthusiasm and far too generous praise. You know your art...but more importantly, your friendship enriches MY life beyond measure!! I'm so delighted that you saw the website and listened to the recording. And this art - well it's kind of special to me also so it does mean more than you know that you like it. xoxo
Excellent image & poem. I was very close to death in '98.. it changes how one looks at many things. God alone knows the time we have & we should all cherish and utilize each day as best we can :)
It does do that Nina - and at each transition in life we have to think about being grateful for the days we have. Certainly a near death experience would cause one to think about cherishing our time and stage of life. Thank you so much for such a meaningful comment!
Beautiful words an work Lianne ... wonderful :-)
Ah thank you Cathy - I'm awfully pleased that you like both. This poem is just very meaningful for me right now and this beautiful creek is the perfect place for this kind of reflection. Your comment means a lot to me.
Aloha Lianne, so very much appreciate the depth of your awakened words & image! Hoping you will add this to artculturepeace365 group gallery. Warm aloha!
How wonderful of you to ask - and I'd be delighted to do so. And what a very gracious and lovely comment as well - thank you so much.
Wow.... I am not sure which is more striking. Both are so moving. I certainly adore the composition as well as warm colors throughout the shot. Really amazing presentation.
so beautiful! where is this place?
Hello Vladimir - so lovely to see you. I must be sleeping when you post because I seem to keep missing you! This is a lovely little creek in western NY near Buffalo. I'm so glad you think it's as lovely as I do. Thank you!
Oh my heavens! This capture is glorious. The beautiful colors with the lighting is just superb. The writing, leaves me enraptured. Beautifully written with a sense of acceptance at the losses in life and of life. You are so very gifted with the pen. Thank you for sharing that gift with us.
Ah Ramon - such is life actually. I try to think of transitions as opportunities, to be hopeful no matter how many years or losses are behind me that there is so much still to do and learn and love. Autumn makes me doubly reflective always. Thank you so much my dear friend.
