Description: Every year in Eindhoven we enjoy the 'Lichtjesroute', a 22 km tour all the way through Eindhoven, with all sorts of lights for decoration.
The 'route of lights' was started to remembter the liberation of Eindhoven at the end of WO II. It starts September 18th and continues until the 9th of October. You can take the tour by bike or by car.
This picture is taken at the 'little ducks pond', where the Smurfs live.
The light stripes are a result of the turning of the house.

Yes, too bad it's over now. Next year I'll try something new again, there are a lot of places in Eindhoven, where I live, that have special gathering places like these.

Just bought ourselves a new smurf showercurtain. Only because I thought the boys would like it, it was cheap and the old one had so much calcium on it, it had to go :-) It's a very magical place, maybe because it is all in/on the water ....
