All My Yesterdays
Comments
I rest upon the threshold of the imagination....lost my images on the red door...lost petal from a giant. I am looking into your smile..as a promise of Love, undeterred. Rosa (how beautifully treated, Rosie....how intense)
Love the title and the layerwork here Rosie, could be many different stories and meanings. Beautiful child and image :)
Oh, those eyes, he is so expressive! very beautiful and intriguing layering; so many interpretations, I love this, can't stop looking!
Beautiful child, what gorgeous eyes, great layering Rosie and love those doors, very beautiful image :o)x
One by one..counted llike rosary beads, moments where for an instant we beleived in shapes, touchable essences. She cannot have many, and does not need them. emerging from the old, she is old herself, so old that meets the first ray of Life with a blinking of her eyes. Rosa (precious, Rosie)
I like the use of semitransparency over the base image, (the child I think). Perfect Blend mode used in this. Very nice!
Congratulations! Your image has been chosen for feature in the Friends group. Go to the October Feature Chain forum at http://groups.bluecanvas.com/Friends/forum/post/1849 and post your image in a comment. Then announce your choice for the next feature! Thank you!
Rosie this is so beautiful......Great composition, light, texture and color compliments. He's as cute as they come and you captured him beautifully.
Such a beautiful child, so wonderfully photographed, Rosie. Love those big eyes!
He is a sweetheart- goes around consoling his crying cousins..I love the big dark eyes too Ann- could just swim in them... :)
Aloha Rosie, how beautiful. Mahalo for adding this to our artculturepeace365 group gallery! As always, with warm aloha & hugs!
OH! OH! OH! Rosie!!! Can I have a new favorite now? This is sooooo exquisite. The look in his eyes, the past so beautifully represented by the deteriorating building and the overall perfect treatment, just make this a masterpiece. So beautifully executed my friend!!!! XXXXXXXXX
I don't know what hits me more, the innocence on that beautiful trusting face or the red doors .... Magnificent, Rosie love, as always! xxx
Miek- your heart precedes all you do- I appreciate your presence and all your work here so very much xXX
An emotive piece yes....so many things come to mind Rosie.
:)) I think of your mind dear Laureen and i visualise precious crystals - thanks so much for your amazing support xxx
Beautifully done!
Fred- always great to see you... I keep wishing i had more for your group. Not enough RED in this, but I think next week I will JUST do RED- just for you! xxx
What a popular piece this is, I had to scroll down two pages to find my original comment! Congrats! I think this image has just enough red to be very welcome to SHADES_OF_RED! But if doing red just for me is motivating then you go girl!
It's really difficult to find the words to express just what a masterpiece this is, Rosie. The title so perfectly captures the essence of this but the contrasts between the innocence in the eyes of this beautiful child and the worn and overgrown entrance...the red doors...is just stunning. Your processing and treatment here is incomparable my friend - proving that you are truly a unique and very gifted artist. It takes one to translate heart into art. xo
I had this little boy in mind for quite a while, and he just came together tonight on my screen. Lianne your support means so much to me xxx
