Hearing/reading how the viewer interprets my work tells me a lot about how my work is portrayed. Initially I did not get a sense of sadness. Thank you very much for sharing your interpretation and insight of this with me!
Nah, just kind enough ;-) Reading the comment above, I would add that it speaks to me of change- and change is often both happy and sad. A beginning and an end at once.
