Description: Digital Painting from an original Photograph
This image was originally shot as a photograph atop the Seoul Tower in Korea. It was a rainy day and the view was obscured by the cloud cover. While there were few of us that made the trip to the top, these two women caught my attention. First, while they were modestly dressed, they both had beautiful skin - not the "plaster your face with some expensive product" skin, but natural health and vitality.
Secondly, they walked quietly together and talked almost in a whisper. It was apparent that these two had a deep friendship by the respect they showed one another. One of the women wore a cross around her neck. The Christian church is flourishing there so it was no surprise to me. In a previous trip I had the opportunity to visit the world's largest church. It truly was an amazing experience that moved me in ways that still leave me wondering.
These two women seemed to have a peace about them that the rest of the world fights to find. Maybe it was faith...maybe it was true friendly companionship...maybe one leads to the other.
