I would make a Jabba the Hut joke, but I don't know any Jabba the Hut jokes. The ugly guys always get the cute girls, though.

Greedo had a TON of Jabba jokes, but Han screwed that up.
I knew a real life Jabba, and he was always threatening to make people clean between his flaps. It was so funny because it was so unexpected

How do you know when to stop drawing?

I prefer a lot more inking and had this been purely a B&W illustration this would look very different. But as this was going to be in color...I allowed for tones and the color to set the ambiance not so much the line work. And to make that happen takes a lot of stepping back from the picture to think and puffing on a cigar.
Maybe I should try a cigar....bubble gum perhaps.
Try a very, very expensive cigar. Then find a place to put your ten piggies up and stare at the stars. I find some amazing art between the grey swirls of smoke and heavens above.
Ah! so that's your secret....that explains everything...swirly sterly stars!
