the work is muted by layers,but very clear in what you are conveying to the viewer,excellent work in my view.
Stunning photograph of the child. This is just a little "busy" in my opinion, the upper layers have to much texture, would have used something a wee tad less busy to get this. Understand showing the eyes in the clear, just something a little less patterned over the top.
Thanks for all your great comments Allen. I appreciate them so much. Really my purpose with these works is to express at a personal level, and this one has special meaning, and the heavy texturing is very intended, of not to everyone's liking. Allen, I usually add in my descriptions whether works are textured and whether I have borrowed anyone else's textures in the production of what you see here. I am certainly not a photographer as much as i am a hobbyist who dabbles in photographic art, and sells a bit .. though my purpose is to express what I feel about my subjects, which is always personal. Please be most welcome to comment as you have, as it gets me back to look at what i have done, and why, and that is so valid :)
