thank you. it's funny it's one of my paintings i've used the least amount of paint...it was finished so quickly...sometimes i think my paintings are better with less effort.

that's what's so good about painting...it's so expressive. i'm pretty happy...but you probably wouldn't guess it with some of the emotions that come through in my paintings. :)

thanks so much. i love showing real emotions of my subjects in my paintings. i've had someone tell me at a show that i should paint my subjects more happy and smiling...and then they would probably want it hanging on their walls. i almost took their advice, but so happy i didn't. :)

i wish i knew too..it was inspired by a photograph i saw from an amazing photographer....he took a lot of photos of his kids, and i believe it may have been his son....as he had tons of him.....the reason i wanted to paint from that photo is because i have a hard time capturing emotion and his expression seemed to be the epitomy of emotion to me...it was quite the challenge for me to capture that. I appreciate your comments and stars. :)
