Thanks so much for coming by... a couple of weeks back I got very excited to see one out in the wild just a short walk from home, and he was in action- it was just the most thrilling thing to watch the energy in the sky as he hovered high in the reeds... and hundreds of birds scattered... then, suddenly...swoop!!! and he's off with a mouse in his talons.... just left me so out of breath... next time I must lug my huge lens along...
Hope you are well and enjoying Summer... sure as hec is cold here ;P xxx
WOW Rose - that is amazing! I see falcons everywhere. I tried rescuing one once off a highway. But he laid back hissed and stuck his talons out at me. I just learned that they put like 200lbs of pressure per square inch on their prey. so good thing i didnot try until the bitter end. well...we drove to the rescue place & they unfort had to put him down... BUT - he did not suffer. Anway -enjoying a strange weather pattern this summer for sure. COLD!!? That is so crazy to think. I was in Australia for 2 months waaaay back june/july and it was warm. Why is it so cold? Talk soon!

I have a collection of well over 600 owls here at home... last counted two years ago... and they seem to arrive daily... just got another one;D xxx
