Cool - and what an AMAZING set of images they are! Rosie, how do I post a copy of the artwork in the forum? x Jay

this one feels very aquatic to me, very tentacley - and I see rosie's tree with its roots and a giant eye, maybe an octopus eye, unblinking and strange.

It's a funny one, for sure ;-)

Gosh Jay- I ADORE this work...have been in a dot-joining journey of late myself...and wow- there are such wonders in this beautiful work that relate to so much of that for me. Love this wide-eyed discovery, the tree and its roots...is that really a smiling big croc I can see with an owl on his shoulder, or am I imagining things now...???!!! :)) Your words and the warm watery tones here soothe dear Jay..Oh I have to tell you this is a HUGE fave for me..xxx

Rosie, you are not the first to tell me that this painting holds a lot of familiar elements relating to recent events for them...I am smiling broadly at all the images you've spotted within it: I hadn't seen ANY of those until you said! One of the great things about painting abstracts for me is the pleasure of seeing them take on their own life and new interpretations when viewed by other people - thanks you for sharing yours with me, Rose :-) xxx

...and I keep seeing that little owl now that you've pointed him out to me...! I'm making the most of the original whilst i still have it with me - it's off to Germany soon to a new home...
