Description: "The Flooded Alley"
Venice, Italy January 2004/March 2011
"The Canals of Venice, this is such a typical picture but I really was thinking the whole trip that I wanted to take a picture like this myself."
This is one of 3 inspiring photos that I took while on my trip to Italy, I wish I had gotten more like this. I was amazed by sheer beauty in Venice, I partially thought it might've had something to do with smacking my head getting off the boat earlier. But it was as if I had walked into a painting, it was exactly as you imagine it to be. Such a beautiful, old city that words can't describe. I'm glad I got to take a photo like this, I've slightly enhanced the colours to make this photo perfect. I wanted it to have an old, antique feel, just like the buildings in Venice. When you look down into the water you can see the slowly sinking walls, the paint worn off from the soft current. I would love to see this place again...
