Description: Torso carved from laminated marine ply (recovered from scrap bin from a kitchen manufacturer). The carving was painted with acrylic black paint then sprayed with gloss lacquer. I'm not a big fan of the high gloss finish, however the lady that bought it loves the finish. I made this piece for a charity auction to raise money for a young mother battling cancer.
Unfortunately since posting this the young mother passed away.
