Definitely a story here. Book cover? Lovely work Timothy

You know, I've tried to draw these birds and never quite got them right. Considering I've drawn magpies you'd think... but no :(

Thank you. I'm always looking for reference material. Luckily people have had better success than I, at photographing them.
Posted by rosyjenirosehall on July 30, 2012
Ah yes... point anything at a crow and it's gone in a blink!
Posted by timothyG on July 31, 2012
Maybe if I got a good 'roadkill' costume!
Posted by rosyjenirosehall on July 31, 2012
LMAO! Perhaps not. They go for the eyes first.
Posted by timothyG on August 02, 2012
Owww! Suppose that they'd fall for a deer wearing safety goggles?
Posted by rosyjenirosehall on August 02, 2012
Not sure, but if you do try it on, can we pretty pretty puhleeeeeese have a pic :D
Posted by timothyG on August 03, 2012
Of course! I'll just leave the camera laying nearby, as I 'play dead'. I understand that most crows are exceptional photographers! I'm sure that an old guy dressed as a defunct Bambi in safety goggles, would be a photo-op that they could not pass up. =)
I smell a whole new genre in the works!!!

LOL Run with it Tim can't wait to see the results :D

Is it a crow or a raven? I wear a silver raven skull necklace all the time. It makes people wonder about me LOL
Posted by timothyG on January 16, 2012
They both inspire me. What I actually see daily are crows, but ravens seem to have better PR. I'd love to see your necklace! --and then I could wonder too!!!
Your style is so in line with what I envision in my mind. I really like this piece, so string and it makes me want to know more about the context of it. To me, that is a success.

Now you really have me intrigued. I'm horrible with symbolism. But I do see a cross and where it is wound there is health.
Posted by timothyG on June 21, 2011
WOW!!!! I love it when the viewer sees/understands more than I! REALLY! This cross is a necklace that I've had for forty years, hadn't considered the 'health' aspect. You are intriguing me! Thanks!
