Hello my fellow creatives....I've been out of the loop, for quite awhile...too much going on...will try to be more present.

Description: Black & white photograph, detailed view of ficus tree trunk.
While living in Florida, I also became obsessed with the endless variety of textural gifts found in the Florida strangler fig tree...otherwise known as a banyan tree. To date I have taken over 3,000 photos of these tree trunks and there are so many more shots out there. I just never get tired of the visual plethora. Roots that look like limbs, textures that range from smooth to coarse, lines that dance, sing, strangle, protect, wind, and suggest all kinds of things...to my eye...a sensuous quality I can't ignore.
