you have a thing for fire i see!

There will be more! Actually the series 'The Disasters" deals with the 4 elemental forces of nature; hence - Gale, Deluge, Eruption and Conflagration (wind, water, earth, fire) There will be 24 unique images per elemental aspect covering alpha through omega. Each one will be in a different medium. Alpha = etching, beta = block prints, gamma = silkscreen, later on oil, graphite, ceramic, etc. This will allow me to indulge in my desire to use all sorts of media while exploring the theme and building a cohesive final body of work.

Thanks for telling me about that, it's fascinating, and I will be watching to see as things unfold. Where are you from?

Posted by lancehayes on March 13, 2013

Posted by fotioszemenides on March 13, 2013

Posted by lancehayes on March 13, 2013

Fantastic, I have been thinking of doing something similar with photography...beenn on my mind a while! Very cool!

Posted by fotioszemenides on September 16, 2010

With your glass art you would be able to get layers and transluceny that would make the element of the fire/smoke dance depending on the lighting you use.
