I'm interested to see your samurai picture. Have you been to Japan? I currently live near Oklahoma City, but I visit Tokyo (my hometown) as often as I can.

I will finish it in a few months and will show you when it is completed.. I am working on a piece similar to the "dusk" painting right now but with acrylic. No, I have never been to Japan but I would love to go. To be honest with you I have always loved the older Japanese styles. The history, homes, the art and the music. I love the traditional music like Shamisenongaku, Biwagaku, Nohgaku, Sokyoku, Shakuhachi. We should keep in touch. I will send you a facebook request. 

You should totally visit Japan. Though Tokyo is very modern, they are good about preserving so much old tradition. There's so much history and culture around everywhere.
