oh sweetie, not yet. Rosie encouraged me to actually go the store and hold one so I get one that is not too light. The point and shoot is what I am looking at for now. I did not know the heavier the camera the better for less tremors.

Its A Fujifilm HS10, its a 'Bridge Camera' too big to be a compact really, but you cant cahnge the lens, mine weighs about 600grammes, so they are inbetween... for dimwits, google Bridge Cameras and have a look, might suit you, a lot of scope !
